It is time. I need to get a video camera to expand my blogging, record some events, document other things, and just a whole host of things. The question is, which one should I purchase? I’ve been looking at Sony, Canon, and several others. At this point I have several functionalities that are must haves; 1080p HD, Decent Still Photo (which is assumed with 1080p HD), good speed & light quality handling, and the ability to record for at least 2hrs + on a single battery charge. All of these things, appear to be readily available on modern cameras. The question now rest on the reputation, history, and quality of the cameras that I have to choose from.
